Another major fire in the West, this one the “King Fire” east of Sacramento in the Sierras. About 28,000 acres, 5% contained (this morning, Wednesday, September 17). Winds keep shifting around, driving the fire south from sunset into evening and north during the day. Structures threatened. A mess. Dangerous mess.
